So TV Shows have a lot to do with media. Popular TV Shows like NCIS or Dog With A Blog have to have focused shots and clear audio. That's just like us, good perspectives and strange shots can make the story interesting. TV Shows can relate to us and so can Movies. So we can watch different TV Shows and get ideas pf what to do.

This 2nd Quarter, my partner and I are doing a news story on metal recycling on the island of Kauai. My partner and I have got some progress on our project. We have interviews, b-rolls, and our script that are coming along.

Interviews are a key part in our videos. Interviews help get your point and story out to the audience. For our interviews we have to interview the Operator, Workers, and Consumers. We are almost finished with our interviews, we should be done by this next week. We need all the interviews we can get so that we can have a strong story.

B-roll is another key thing in our story because how would you like to just watch people talk the whole time. B-roll can cover up interviews so you can see what people are talking about so you can have more of an image. We have quite the amount of b-roll right now but more could help us even more. Hopefully the shots are clear and hopefully we will have enough sequence.

While in the process of doing our script, it may take a few drafts because it's not going to be perfect. Our script is starting to come along. We can put down voice overs, b-roll, and interviews. Soon we can turn it in to Mr.M.

So, Dalson and I are doing okay but I need to hurry it up so that we can have more progress. Hopefully by the beginning of next week we can have a completed version of our script.

So yesterday we had our first Street Fair of the year. Unluckily, there was a really bad thunderstorm so we had to shut it down early . Soon we will have another one though , there will be bingo, a mini craft fair, and food trucks. Please come support the students at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School by showing up and purchasing something. The money we get will help our students in the Media Program get to Orlando, Florida to go to the Student Television Network Convention. So please come support us, mahalo.

In 10 years what is everything going to be like? Is there going to be Flying Cars? Or maybe robots as servants? What about TV's, what's going to happen to our TV's? Perhaps our TV's will be on only our mobile phones or maybe even our personal robots . I think that we will still see our TV Shows on our TV's but the TV's will be made more advanced.

Our TVs could turn out to be on our phones. They already are but what if TV transforms to only be on our phones. A top hit TV Show NCIS could be just waiting every night for you to watch it on your phone. Just a simple "Siri play NCIS Season 5 Episode 1." The future has a lot of different possible outcomes.

Our TVs could possibly even stay the same. The TVs could just get bigger and more advanced. Maybe the TVs could turn into robots and go with you anywhere so that TV and movies are available all the time. Wouldn't that be cool? You could go to the store and if you are waiting in a long line you could just have your TV Robot play your favorite TV show for you.

Another possibility could be that TV could also just go away! Maybe everything in the future has to be a movie. What if the TV show "The Voice" had to be a movie? You'd probably want to go to the movie theatres a lot right? But that'd mean a lot of money going out of your pocket going right to the movie theatres. But you can never tell what's going to happen in the future!

There are many different outcomes of what could happen with TVs in the future. Other people have different feelings about what's going to happen. But, there are many possibilities such as robot TVs or even just turning TV shows into movies.

To help us get to Orlando, Florida for the STN Convention we are having fundraisers. Coming up soon, we will be having a breakfast in December on the 8th at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School's Cafeteria. We will be serving things such as sausage, rice, eggs, miso soup, fruits, and refreshments for only 10 dollars. At the event there will also be a small bake sale and some raffle tickets. So please come and join us on December 8th and have some breakfast!

At the Student Television Network Convention there are many competitions such as PSA, Movie Trailer, Music Video, Sweet Sixteen and more. At this years Convention I would like to compete in the Movie Trailer. I have never competed in this competition.

The reason I want to compete in Movie Trailer is because you sometimes have to be dramatic. I like dramatic films that pull you in so you want to watch the real movie. A movie trailer is kind of like a preview of a movie, when you make a movie trailer you have to try hard to have everything good so that it pulls the audience in. I want to be apart of that.

We have to have teams in the competition. In movie trailer you can have up to 6 people. Right now we aren't sure what the teams will be like. Soon we will start practicing and whoever comes out on the winning side gets to compete in that competition. We need to have clear shots, good audio, an understandable story outline, and the Movie Trailer needs to be on topic. All of that can help my team get to STN and hopefully win.

When you are at the competition, you only have 4-6 hours to produce a movie trailer. Usually it would be 2 hours for shooting and 2 hours for editing. If that's the case, in the first two hours you must brainstorm ideas and put ideas together until you come up with what you are sticking with. Then, you have to shoot your scenes. After you do all of that, you might want to check your footage before you go into the editing room. But, once you get in the editing room, you begin to edit the footage you have and try to create a good 30 second movie trailer.

The STN Convention is very stressful. This year I want to compete in the Movie Trailer competition which means hard work. Our teams aren't determined yebut hopefully
